How Does Solar Work?
Solar panels are made up of photovoltaic cells that converts the power of the sun into a form of power called a "direct current". The electricity in this form is then sent to an inverter where it is then converted to an "alternating current". Alternating current power is the equivalent of standard household electricity used for your television, computer, toaster, and other appliances. Alternating power is then distributed through your electric panel to service all your electrical needs.
